Information, Booking & Payment Terms
Breakfast: At a pre-arranged time between 7.00am & 9.15am in Rm.2
on the Ground floor; please be punctual to avoid spoiling the breakfast for
you and for those after you
Breakfast Room: With advance notice, Room 2 may be used for
takeway
meals between 6pm and 9pm
Check in time: Between 3.00pm and 10pm. Prior ETA is required
Children: We are happy to have well behaved children provided that
we
have adequate facilities for them. Please check before booking
Daily Room Servicing: During the morning, usually by our CRB checked
cleaner; if you don’t wish to be disturbed, please let us know and we
will defer servicing until the next day
Damage: Any loss or damage, whether reported or not, must be paid for
Departure: By 10.30am please on your agreed departure date, after
settling any outstanding account by cash or UK Stirling cheque payable
to “Annie’s B&B”
Fire: Our B&B has a fire alarm, smoke alarms, fire doors and fire
extinguishers and each guest room has a smoke alarm, an alarm sounder
and an emergency fire evacuation notice
Front Door: Please close the front door behind you and
for safety,
security and access reasons, please don’t set the latch or
chain
under any circumstances
Hairdryer: In the wardrobe
Iron/ironing board: These can be set up in the Breakfast room upon request
Keys: You will be given a room key and a front door key. Please
keep
these safely and return prior to departure. Any “lost keys” will
be
chargeable at cost but please be aware that these are very expensive,
involving lock changes etc
Parking: On a first come first served basis, two small cars may
be
parked on our forecourt but please take care not to obstruct our
neighbours’ driveway or their rear parking areas. On most occasions it
is also possible to park in Cambridge Road or on the Esplanade
Pets: Probably not but at our discretion
Smoking: No smoking anywhere inside the building;
outside, please
dispose of cigarette waste thoughtfully
Takeaways: Please do not eat takeaways in your room;

Towels: Normally changed every three days and always on departure
Valuables: Please keep these with you at all times as we cannot
accept
liability for any loss
Visitor Attractions: A number of leaflets are available in the
Breakfast
Room
WIFI: There is free WIFI and full details are conained in
the Guest Information folder available in each room
Payment terms
Booking: A non-returnable deposit of 50% of the room tariff
chargeable
for each night booked will be required at the time of making the
booking. Your statutory rights are not affected. If you are concerned
about the possibility of cancellation or amendment, you are advised to
take out travel insurance.
Arrival: The remaining 50% of the room tariff chargeable for each
night
booked will be payable on arrival and will not be refundable even if you
decide to make an early departure. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Non show: If you do not turn up within one hour of your estimated
time
of arrival on the first day of your booking and you do not contact us,
we will try to contact you to find out state of play. If we are unable
to establish contact within two hours (or by 10pm whichever is the
earlier) on that first day of your booking then cancellation charges of
100% of the room tariff chargeable for each night of the total booked
period become due and an invoice will be raised to that effect and sent
to your given contact address; additionally, if your booking is for
longer than one night, we reserve the right to try to re-let your room
for the subsequent nights of your booking.
Cancellation charges: With advance notification which must be
in writing
then the following charges apply:
Over 2 weeks's notice prior to your due arrival date: 50% of the room
tariff chargeable for the full period cancelled, i.e. your full booking
deposit is retained
2 weeks' notice or less prior to your due arrival date: 90% of the room
tariff chargeable for each night cancelled where we are unable to make a
substitute booking and 50% of the room tariff chargeable for each night
cancelled where we are able to make a substitute booking. i.e. your full
booking deposit is retained and an invoice will be raised for the
additional 40% for each day of your booking where we are unable to
re-let the room.
